Since 360 version came out it just does not seem next generation anymore

I know its just my mind playing games but I have not played since the launch of the 360 version. Well, I tried once but had server issues. I would pay 99 for an X1 exclusive awesome story mode with online play. Heck, I would pay 150 for GTA6 made just
for next generation.

I think if the games can be played on both platforms it is going to come up short.

Goodbye Xbox

Had an xbox 360 since it came out. But it seems most of my friends are switching over to the ps4 for the next generation. I have no complaints xbox, sorry I won't be with you in the next round.

Why isnt some new arcade games releasing on 360 but not on x1

So a major arcade game that came out was yugioh millennium duels. They release it on 360, but not on xb1. If it came out on x1, i would 100% buy it, but since its on 360, i will not buy it, considering i dont play 360 anymore. Can somebody explain that to
me

 

Well they have to make a profit from the game and its a Xbox exclusive with most the player base still on 360 so they kind of have to sell it on both systems. I agree with you though. the real next gen games are still not here yet because a lot of devs still
don't know how to get the most out of the Xbox One yet.

 

it was simple, the developers should have demanded that the next gen consoles were backwards comp to get more people to get new consoles. Even if that option was never used it would have sold more consoles. Then they would have more customers to sell to.

I can not believe xbox thought everyone was going to rush and buy and x1 then never buy new games for it if it were backwards comp. That just sounds silly, like a guy in a bean counting meeting came up with.

They need to come up with a new version of the X1 and get another 50 million sold in a hurry or I look for delays in games like the new Halo, or I guess the new Halo will be downgraded to sell to the 360 customers.

 

Still feels next generation to me. The xbox 360 version is very dumbed down

 

Titanfall on Xbox One is definitely a step in the right direction for sure but they still can get more out of the console is all I'm saying. Most of the good things about Titanfall to me are coming from the servers not the console.

 

I am not so sore they did not down play the 360 version so it did not look identical and upset all the X1 fans. Yes, it seems to be all server driven then what exactly is the big deal anyways.

 

People don't even realize Respawn didn't even make TF for the 360 a completely different game company did. So that argument is blown. And as for it being an Xbox exclusive, dude above was right I would say at least 40-50 percent of xbox live members are
still clinging to life with their 360's. Now when ESO and Destiny comes out they may not be Xbox only games but what they are is "NEXT GEN ONLY GAMES" so that means that they will only be out for the next Gen consoles(and probably PC. ESO is but not sure
about Destiny). Sorry 360 clingers. IMHO TitanFall was the last game being made for both systems (not the PS and XBOX but the 360 and the One)

 

^^i agree with you but I'd say 60-80% are still on the 360. I don't think I have 20 friends on Live with a XB1. Not being backwards compatible is the number one reason that more of my peeps aren't making the switch.

 

^ Yea it wouldn't of been that hard to do either, I mean come on they did it on the PS2, any game that you had that was PS1 could be played on PS2 and that was over a decade ago. I think I have 4 friends with an XBOX ONE and about 80 on the 360 so you may
be right I was just being conservative.
