    Hello all!

    So here is the setup. I have one XBOX one in the living room and my son has an XBOX one in his room. I purchased SW BFII and my son downloaded it to his console in his room as a family member. Is it possible to play simultaneously
    on two different consoles? I ask because when he attempts to play in his room, I get a message telling me I have to be logged as the original purchaser (Same for Battlefield I). Is there a way to set up our accounts to get around this? Is this more of an EA
    issue?

    Can anyone tell me how to do this please? My other half bought me my own Xbox one so we could play online together. We have two consoles, both with our gamer tags on them and both with the downloadable games installed on them. Lets take COD for example,
    my partner loaded his gamer tag on his xbone and I loaded my gamer tag on my xbone but it won't let us p,ay the game at the same time??

    Like the original post, we own that game so shouldn't have to buy two copies....what's your secret to get it to work? Simultaneously playing the game on two different consoles in the same house (explained below) :)

    Sort of. If your playing a game downloaded from the xbox live marketplace yes, you can. If its a physical disc no you cant

    I'm sorry but I don't understand how that works... I plan to game simultaneously with her on two separate consoles simultaneously using one gamertag's subscription.

    Explain in detail how your solution would work if we're both using game pass and live gold simultaneously on two separate consoles?

    Yes, games can be transferred from one console to another and played simultaneously by the two different users in the family. I have two consoles X1 with two different profiles that

    share     content and Gold subscription.

    You may be right, as that ties into Microsoft's theme that game licensing is similar to how it is today. You can't play your copy of Halo 4 simultaneously on two different consoles today, so things will be no different bla bla bla.



    But it would be neat if you are wrong, eh? The all-online, cloud-sourced nature of the license model means it would be
    possible to allow simultaneous play (something not possible when a disc is requried). A boy can dream...

    Hi,Chris! I'm Luis, a fellow Xbox Gamer . Thanks for reaching us out here.

    You just need to use the "home xbox " feature.

    Withe the account that owns the game on the other console please:

    Press the Xbox button  on your controller to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.

    Select Make this my home Xbox.

    After that games and subcription bought with that account will be shared with the other console
