Sims 4 won't play on Series X

Another troubleshooting step we can do is to delete the data of the game but that would let you start over again. It is possible that this is also being caused by the data for some reason that it is not transferring properly on the new generation.

Let's refresh the console's system cache and see if this can help.

NOTE: This will remove the profiles on your console, make sure that you remember the email and password to your account.

No data or game saves will be lost doing this, everything is backed up to the cloud servers.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select Settings.

3. Select System.

4. Select Console info

5. Select Reset console.

6. Select Reset and keep my games & apps

This will also help sync the data on your console properly.

Update. The game will not load on my series X with any dlc installed. Only the base game.

It will load with dlc installed on the new profile. But I don't have access to the dlc since that profile doesn't own the dlc.

It will load on the Xbox one with dlc.

Hi, I have been running into problems with the Sims 4 game which is connected to Electronic Arts. I have tried to find an alternative route to this problem that I am also having which was to uninstall and reinstall the game, but I kept running into issues in the game itself where I would have to restart the game. I kept uninstalling and reinstalling the game over and over again, but kept running into the same issues over and over again and and again and again. Electronic Arts really needed to fix their game before launching it because the sims 4 is quite literally littered with bugs and glitches that have gone unnoticed and unsolved for a very very long time. If someone can please help me with this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hey so i have the exact same problem as the person who created this forum. I followed all the directions and changed my display and still have the same issues. My old xbox wouldn’t let me download any more games because it would never download, even with a lan cable.

Other games on the xbox x previously worked, but only TODAY i open them and it won’t leave the title page but i can still click and select whatever is on the load up page.

I’m thinking of factory resetting my xbox x but i just got it a little under 2 weeks ago and i feel like it may not solve the issue. i do think it may be a data synching issue but idk.
