Sims 4 disc want work

You should try to contact the ea support and ask them for an exchange. Think this should depending how long you have the disc. If it is not that long you could also try the store where you purchased the disc.

thanks for reply. I checked disk up too light and no crack or scratches. disk still look brand new. will try on another Xbox and update.

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue. Sorry to hear that you're having difficulty with your Sims 4 disc being read and receiving

error code 0x803f8001. If you've already checked the disc for cleanliness and for scratches (you may also want to hold the disc up to a light source with the printed side toward you to see if there is a scratch on that side as that can be very damaging)
and this is not the issue, I would recommend that you further troubleshoot using our support article entitled How to troubleshoot
problems playing a disc on your Xbox One using Solution 2. Alternatively, you may try the disc on a separate console if possible to ensure that it can be read.

If you have this issue with any other games on disc on the xbox of your daugther or just with this game? As you tried other solutions there are not that much left. You could try to delete the profile, do a power cycle and redownload it. Or do a soft factory
reset. In that case you keep the games and apps. Maybe that fix the issue..

Have you checked, if the disc is clean and has no scretches? Sometimes it could be a bit dirt or something on the disc hat it wont work..
