simple question

if someone kills me which is quite often after ive watched the killcam

a 100 points or something appears on the screen

anyone know why it does this, i play team death

It's designed to work either way, but I always have mine laying flat as it is just much safer in that position.

 

Lots of things can give you points. I'm not sure about the 100, but its most likely to be points for an assist right after you die.

 

if its assist it usually says on the screen assist or something

 

Its probably your enemies getting the 100 points for killing you, if you are seeing it in the killcam.

 

Its not for an assist, its just a glitch I've been seeing it every time I die since the TU for onslaught dropped. Its just the +100 or how ever many points your killer is getting.

 

As the user above me said. In the new Title update they made it so that it shows how much the person got for killing you. Now it might show up because you skip the killcam and it just pops up. I'm sure they will fix it sometime soon.

 

well it doesnt make me feel any better seeing what he got for killing me lol

 

I've even been seeing duble kill popups when I die. I mash x a lot though.

 

Play HC - it is the way forward!! - no kill cams

 

With the recent patch, it added the opponents XP pop ups in the killcam

 

on hardcore do you spawn right away or do you have to wait say 5 seconds before you respawn

 

Imo, a short wait is a good thing. Hc is supposed to be more about caution and tactics. Dying is a bad thing and there ought to be concequences for it.

A 5-7 second countdown timer isnt a long time, but maybe will keep players from being a reckless and more about a battle rather than a race,

 

I am too ADHD to play games with spawn delays.
