While I won't personally buy the game, I appreciate the focus on Atmosphere over throwing a bunch of jump scares at you all at once.

@ghost: uhh... where did you hear that microsoft made their money back within 24 hours of a $2.5 billion investment? that's a load of barnacles.

I hope microsoft grabs this, but I mean... they got minecraft for $2.5 billion. minecraft is way bigger than silent hills, so why is silent hills apparently worth "billions"?

I've lost all interest in Silent Hill. Homecoming and Downpour were bad enough. I managed to endure Homecoming for a full 1000gs but I was soooooooo happy after beating it for the one last time, knowing I'd NEVER have to go back to that game. Downpour was
a bit better imo, at least I beat it in one go without having a two-year-break in the middle of the game Though, I don't have any motivaiton to get 1000gs in it. Probably should so I could trade the game in as I won't do it before gettin the rest of the
achievements :|

 

i have to point out the source states the deal is in the billions, if that is the case surely its in yen for example 4 billion yen converts to 32,240,000 us dollars, so this could be entirely true even with spencers comments saying about it not been true.
