Signs that someone is bad at COD

Usually when you see someone go 4 - 18 on domination. It's normally my 6 yr old son when we play together online. But it's ok, he only cares about the flag and yells at me for not grabbing it quick enough.. lol

 

if ur kd is below 3.0, ur just some bk.

 

if they have my gamertag...

side note, I've tried to do the riot shield C4 combo and got zero kills so it's not for every terrible player.

My K/D in TDM is 4.75....but I am a BK. My overall k/d is barely over 2. When ever I play objectives game modes I dive on them. Not to mention I'm top 2000 in SnR. It's not a good k/d game mode.

 

You have a thermal sight on every weapon loadout.

 

I don't really care about my K/D anymore,If you worry about that in Ghosts you'd never move since the campers prosper in this game.I just have fun,It's only a game.I'm happy running around with a 1.20KD and most importantly enjoying myself.Don't use Riot
shields cos they don't interest me.I could camp it up and get a 2KD no sweat but i don't find that fun at all.People only play like that because the game allows them to,If Riot Shields and C4 were'nt there,They could'nt do it ,People will play how they want,Getting
mad at other players gets you nowhere.

I finally realized what the op actually meant ...........

Signs that someone is GOING TO DO bad at cod ........Their go to class includes a riot shield and c4.

If it was meant some other way, he needs to show us his riot shield class with gold camo. It has to be the most frustrating challengeS) ever.

I.ve been working on it the last few days and as much as I like a challenge, I'm not sure I can see it through. I've used the shield before and had it diamond in bo2. it doesnt seem to stop any bullets. I can do better rush9ing at someone with nothing
but a knife, than to crouch-walk toward them with a shield.

They dont even have to try to hit exposed parts of my body. I plant myself in a way seems just perferct and die instantly. The killcam shows 2 or 3 bullets hit my shield, it falls away, one bullet hits me and I die.

It varies. The terrain can leave your feet vulnerable (likely an oversight or flaw in foot placement), a wrong shift in direction can expose your body, the stun time is very lacking on this title, and your elbows can be exposed
if they move accordingly without any copying of steps by the riot shield user. Plus an enemy can easily walk around and spray/stab you. There is also the vulnerability of being doubled teamed or worse. I feel there is extreme precision needed and some fine
tuning from the developers. (I am doubtful about the fine tuning though.That would require some heavy changes in foot placement so your shield covers your feet as it should).

I don't generally go positive while using a riot shield, but it is very useful as a distraction and as a radar. Using hardline helps as being shot at counts as an assist on top of hitting them. The riot shield is a very good tactical
weapon when used properly. The C4 Riotshield combo is formidable but has its flaws. It requires a great sacrifice in perks that could be useful for survival (Danger Close over Blast/Stun resistance for an example). It does damage, but a simple counter measure
is fast swap with Trophy Systems (It works and is fun when you destroy tridents).

All true ..... but I've come to find it pretty amusing. One killcam I'll watch will show a guy carefully aiming and waiting for my feet or elbows to show before he takes a shot. ..... next killcam the guy takes no care at all and just sprays at my shield
and I die. Nothing exposed whatsoever.

Same thing with being stabbed. Some dudes jump around like a madman with crazy acrobatic skills to get behind the shield. But all that is a waste of time. I've never been able to block a knife melee ..... likewise I've never had one blocked by an enemy
using a shield.

Another odd bit ....... certain camos on the shield dont up on the outside of my sheild ( in killcams ) The camo is there on the inside for me to see, and when it falls its on the insiude ion the killcam, but not on the outside. Not necessarily related,
but if there is a flaw in textures , I wonder if there could also be a flaw in the material itself.

 

So what counts as an assist for the shield? I know I get a popup pretty frequently whaen the only thing I can think I did was sponge some bullets. At first it didnt seem like any of these were counting toward the camo challenge so I assumed you had to
bash someone . But I started getting some credited without bashing.

I've been running mostly a class with a throwing knife and pistol. I seldom use the pistol. so I can rule that out in most cases. But I seem to be getting credited for maybe a third or less of what popups I'm getting.

I've wondered if just coming into contact with the enemy counts. I do get a lot of cases where I turn a corner and get knifed or shot at close enough range that the enemy probably contacted me even though I didnt melee.

 

I only ever see the squad support guy with a riot shield in kill confirmed

 

Your shield deflecting bullets will count as an assist/aka "distraction" if the shooter(s) are killed by another player, plus the standard damage assist.
