Signing to x box for windows

I appreciate all of your information, but, since I will be updating my OS to windows 10, or 11, if I am able to with this old pc, there is really no sense for me to reinstall windows 8.1. My only concern is, making sure I install a new OS correctly. So, I may just ask for a remote assistance tech to get on my PC, and do it for me.

It seems like the games (Classic solitaire, Microsoft Solitaire Collection, and Cribbage - Classic/Deluxe/Nidink) you have mentioned can be installed using Microsoft Store and not with the Xbox app.

Usually the Xbox app issue can be fixed through installation of the PC update and repair of the app. However, unable to take a screenshot is considered as a Windows issue. We would recommend you to reinstall your Windows 8.1 and before you proceed please read thoroughly the instructions from this thread - How to reinstall Windows 8.1 - Microsoft Community. Please refer to the HP device instruction.

No worries, we have steps here that you can perform.

In posting a screenshot, you may first take a screenshot from your device.

• On your keyboard, you may press Windows Icon + Shift + S simultaneously then drag the cursor to the area of the screen you would like to capture.
  
• You may also look for Print Scrn (Print Screen) button on keyboard to take a screenshot.
  
• You may use snipping tool or snip and sketch or Office apps.
  

If after taking screenshot you have the option to copy it then you may just paste it directly in your next reply here.

Next, posting a screenshot if you saved it on your PC will need to use this icon which you can see when you reply to me in here. You may drag and drop the screenshot or select the screenshot from where it was located.

By the way, may we know if you can still recall when was the last time Xbox app was working in your Windows 8.1?

Is your Windows 8.1 a customized computer or work PC or personal device?

When did this issue happen?
