    Is there a way to configure the Xbox app so when I close it, it automatically signs me off? Right now when I close the app I continue to get notifications and party invites on my PC and people continue to see my status as "on Xbox app". I don't want people
    thinking I'm online when I'm not, and I don't want to be receiving invites on my PC when I have the app closed. Is my only option to go into the settings and sign out every time before I close the app? Can we please fix this so it signs out on closure, or
    minimizes to the system tray on closure and I can right click and close/signout there?

    Trying signing out of account then signing back in. Sometimes works for me. Don't power off.

    Have you tried signing out, powering the console off, then signing back on? Give that a shot and see if it works. If not, try removing and redownloading your profile. Give those a shot.

    Controller Off > Signed Out

    P.S. My Kinect recognizes me. But each time I turn my controller off then put it back on it makes me sign in again.. but I always go back to the "recognize me" setting to redo it. And it recognizes me.

    Greetings!

    It may be that your gamer profile might have become corrupted. Follow the steps up front and let us know how it goes.

    How to delete Xbox LIVE profile safely

    Before you delete your profile, you have to know the username and password for your Microsoft account, associated with your profile.



    1. Go to Settings, and then select System.
    2. Select Storage.
    3. Select All Devices.
    4. Select Gamer Profiles.
    5. Select the gamertag that you want to delete.
    6. Select Delete.
    7. Select Delete Profile Only. This deletes the profile but leaves saved games and achievements.

    Clear Xbox system cache



    1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
    2. Select Storage or Memory.
    3. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller.
    4. Select Clear System Cache.
    5. Clear your Xbox system cache 3 times in row.

    Restart your console.

    Download Xbox LIVE profile.

    1. Press the Xbox Guide button on your controller (large X button in the center of your controller).
    2. Select Download Profile.
    3. Enter the Microsoft account associated with your Xbox LIVE gamertag.
    4. Enter your Microsoft account password.

    you have nat issues that usually causes this here is a link access your routers settings and follow this link it will tell you what you need to change:

    support.xbox.com/.../network-ports-used-xbox-live

    also make sure to powercyle your modem and router afterwards.

    Hey Jarl! There's a couple things you can try and see if it helps at all.

    Easiest would probably be to try a wired connection. Try plugging from your router to your console, then try plugging from your modem directly to your console and let us know the results!

    Next you can try deleting the title update for Black Ops 2 (since the issue started happening after updating that game) and see if that solves the issue.

    To delete the title update:

    -Go to the system hub of your dashboard, then settings, then storage. Find the Black Ops 2 Title Update and delete it.

    -Clear your cache (use this guide:
    support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache
    ).

    -Restart your console.

    -Try loading up a game (preferably not Black Ops 2 to start with) and see if it disconnects you from LIVE.

    Let us know how that goes!
