Signing into Xbox account after creating a local save

So I started Outer Worlds without signing into my Xbox account and then saved my game locally. But the next time I launched it I signed in and wasn't able to load my local save.

Any way to just move the file to where the game now looks for local saves?

like most games that are saved locally they won't update to the "cloud" for your xbox account. not sure if you could open the file while signed if you moved the save to a usb and it would show either.

Hi, Ableton. Unfortunately you can't move the local save to your account. You will have to start over. The Outer Worlds is a great game. Hopefully you didn't progress too far.

Okay, please create a Local Account (Admin) and Sign in to that account and install a game on Xbox (Game Pass).

Create a local user or administrator account in Windows 10 for the steps. After creating a new account, restart your device and sign in with that account. Check if the Xbox Live Service will show up.
