Signing into random minecraft account

A few days ago I purchased Minecraft on my nintendo switch, and everything worked fine at first, but now I can’t get into my microsoft account. Every time I try it signs me into a random account that I didn’t create. I can’t get into any of my old worlds and I can’t play with friends. When I try I get rejected because “of how my account was set up.” (I did not set up this account). I didn’t change anything, same email same password same everything, but I can’t get into my original account. I also can’t access account information because it is part of a family account? Nothing I do is working and I just want to play Minecraft again.

Are you able to see the correct information?
Also, are you able to test the account on a different device or platform? (For example sharing Minecraft on Xbox or PC)

And this can be a bit dumb, but do you know if maybe you have the same email address but with a different domain?
(Example: you have an account with the email amber1111 @ hotmail and other with the email amber1111 @ Gmail)

PS: please don't share email addresses, here in the forums is not possible to view / access / modify account details due to security and privacy reasons

Thanks, that seems to have also helped my second problem of randomly disconnecting from Xbox live.

I would recommend contacting Xbox Support to make sure your account has not been compromised or possibly hacked

Hey there Canine! If this is the account that comes up when you try signing in, then this is the account tied to that WLID. My assumption here is that your other account is tied to a different WLID. Is there any other WLID you may have used and can try?
Also, if your profile is still on a console somewhere, you can simply sign in there and look under Account Management to confirm the WLID. Let me know what you find out, thanks!
