Signing into one of my Microsoft accounts, the security email does not send.

Does he know the password for the Microsoft Account?

If he does you should still be able to change the email used to sign into the account by going to

account.live.com/addassocid and adding an alias/email to the account and making that new email the primary email and then he would be able to remove the old email.

If he has the password but when going to that site and it wants to verify the ownership of the account by sending an email with a code to the old email address (what microsoft calls a security proof) he would be able to change the security proof but it will
lock him out of the account for 30 days while the security proof change takes affect. Once the security proof change takes affect he would be able to change the email associated with the account.

I'm getting a sign in loop, I put in my email it send me Microsoft code to sign in I enter the code and it goes back to ask me if I want to sign in the enter my email even clicking on the saved one which is the same email I put in it does the same thing

Then, try to update your account security info & password. This is actually part of the verification process that you need to undergo with, for us to make sure that your account is all set. Since, there is a chance that your account security info is not updated.

Yes it's linked to my Steam account from checking it on the Xbox app cause that's how I can only check

One solution is to verify your Microsoft account security information:

Go to your Microsoft account and sign in with the Microsoft account (email address and password) that’s associated with your Xbox Live account.

Select Security at the top of the page.

Under Security contact info, select Update my info. Due to the sensitive nature of this information, the page will prompt you to receive and enter a security code. Select the phone number or email address where you want us to send the code.

If any of the phone numbers or email addresses listed as security information have the word Verify next to them, you’ll need to select that link to confirm that we have the correct information. The page will then send you a security code. Enter that code into the field provided, and then select Verify.

If you no longer have access to any of the email addresses or phone numbers that are listed, add a contact that you have access to and remove the ones to which you no longer have access.

Sign out of your Microsoft account, and then sign in again.

Try to sign in to Xbox Live again.

Changing Microsoft emails does not take 30 days to complete. From how you describe it. You initiated security change. That will lock the account for 30 days for any changes. But it won't affect your gaming nor playing online games. This does not change the
email attached to the account. It just change the security email for the account itself. So you will still be using the same email to sign in the account. But when you need to verify it. You will have the option to send the verification code to the new email
you have added.

The game i bought is called Sea of Thieves.

I am in an endless loop where the microsoft software does not recognize my authority and wants to verify my phone number, but it does not send an sms (a service which i am paying for.). It also sais my google email is already in use but I have never (ever) used google to sign in to a microsoft service.

Any suggestions?
