Signing into my Xbox live online

Confirmed that I am signed in to Xbox Live, my profile is signed in and online for the 260 emulator.

You will need an Xbox Profile, not just a Microsoft Account. You can use the account to order an Xbox Live subscription, which will automatically generate you a Gamertag, which you can change once for free, and from there you can edit the Xbox Profile.
long story short, you will need the Live subscription, which is available on either a monthly basis, 3 month, or one year purchase.

Actually if this is being attempted on a phone we suggest taking the Microsoft Account and signing into our

Xbox website, this will create a Gamertag (the system will generate one randomly) and then, after this is done, try signing into Xbox Live. Give it a shot and let us know how it goes!

How to join Xbox Live Gold after setting up your Xbox One console

My xbox live status is fine and I am signed in t my account online. Still not working.
