Signing into Microsoft account

My Microsoft account was compromised this morning causing me to not sign into Xbox Live. I was able to fix the problem, but I think the security needs to be fixed or increased.

Never mind. I was signing into the wrong Microsoft account. Problems of redundancy...

You will be able to do things like:

-Add security proofs to your Microsoft account

-Get the latest security updates for your browser and PC

-Update your virus, spyware and malware protection software

-Turn on your browser phishing filters

-Create a strong password

Power cicle your console and after that you should use the xbox app to sig into your account, you will type with your smartphone, maybe it works.

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue trying to get into your account.

The best first step in this kinda situation would probably be to power cycle the console as outlined in

How to restart or power cycle your Xbox One console. I'm not sure if you have given that a shot yet, but when you get a chance, please do so and let us know if that changed anything.
