Signing in without losing local account

To answer your query, you can use your local account to log in to your computer and sign in to the Xbox App using your Microsoft Account at the same time.

After clicking on Add button, Click Sign in without a Microsoft Account. If you do not see that option, disconnect from the Internet.

You should create a local account, which is an account without a Microsoft Account linked to it.

Please try to create a local account. Press and hold the Windows key, then press R

Type netplwiz in the box, then click OK

Select Add

Select Sign in WITHOUT a Microsoft account

Select Local account

Enter a username, password, and password hint

Click Next

Click Finish

Once done, please press the Windows Key + L, then sign in using the local account.

Sign in using your Microsoft account on the Xbox App and Microsoft Store App.
