Signing in to Xbox

I used to be able to play the occasional Freecell, Spider Klondike, etc. that came with my Windows 10, without any trouble.. I now find that I am being pestered every time with a screen telling me to sign into Xbox. Sometimes a PIN does the trick, but
often it is refused. Why? I have no clear idea what Xbox is and no particular wish to find out. I simply wish to bring up on screen and play the odd card game if I have a few minutes to spare. Why has it all become so complicated and who benefits from
this hassle? I generally end up playing "as a guest", but why can't I just get on with it without the extra steps every single time?

Signing in to Xbox

I recently had to reset my computer which seems to have caused a couple of problems. The most annoying one is the fact that I've changed my Microsoft password half a dozen times in an attempt to get Xbox to allow me to dowload one of their games (Solitaire).

Each time, the password has worked by allowing me to access my computer but every attempt to access Microsoft Games results in "incorrect password" being shown. Microsoft recognises me but by a now defunct email alias. Even though I have deleted that alias
I am met at each sign in attempt with *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***.

I have looked at my account details time and again and can see no way to permanently get rid of and cancel out this email address.

Any and all help would be appreciated.

No "Games for Gold" section after signing in?

Again. After signing in the "Xbox home" menu ("start" in my case) always shows the same tiles, no matter what.

The new service agreement might have reset your settings. Access your settings and enable stay signed in. Dont ask me for a password ever.

You can do this on XB1 so I assume its the same on win10

Game share. Sign Xbox A into Xbox B and make it the home xbox and sign xbox B into Xbox A and make it the home Xbox. Then sign out of both and sign A into A and B into B. And you games and live with be shared between both xboxs. And you can freely sign
in an out to which ever you want.

I sign into my profile on my Xbox 360, and when I sign in it signs me out of Xbox live. When I sign out of my profile I can sign back into Xbox Live again. it signs me out of Xbox live every time I sign into my profile.

sign out of the store and xbox apps, sign in to the windows store and xbox app with the account that bought it, download it, then sign out of the store and xbox app and sign back in with your current account.
