Signing in to Xbox One

My son is trying to sign in to his xbox one and the message he is receiving is telling him to go into his account. We are looking through his account and cannot find a problem with his account. Are there any suggestions as to what this message means?

How are you signing into the Xbox? Where does the message appear, and what does it exactly say, word for word?

I've never heard of a sort of error that simply tells the user to "go into your account".

If the account is able to sign in normally, play games, and go online (if it is Gold), then I wouldn't imagine why there would be any problem.

It would only appear if it is a security check up the console tells you to head to the website sign in and make sure you have access to the account and an active member once you do that it should allow you to login after.

If not let me know so we can fix this.

Now when I tried signing in I put in my pass key and it puts me back to the sign in menu

Sorry to say that one of the core services that manages logging into xbox live is having issues right not and affect your ability to log in. They are working to resolve it quickly
