    Signing in to the Xbox 360 Emulator on my Xbox One


    I am unable to sign in to my Xbox 360 emulator. I am prompted to download an account when I try to sign in. This leads to a message saying I am not connected to Xbox live despite being connected. I have done various fixes, including a full factory reset.
    Is there any way to fix this short of getting a new console?

    Backwards compatibility not working

    I can choose the sign in button but my account isn’t on the 360 emulator (because a possible solution was to remove the profile off of the xbox one and 360 emulator) so it directs me to download a profile. when this problem first started happening my
    account was on the 360 emulator but if I chose to sign in it would say it couldn’t connect to Xbox live so it couldn’t sign me into my profile.

    Agree, which is why I don’t get why I can sign in to Xbox One with my gamer tag account, but not the Xbox 360 emulation!

    80151912 can’t connect to Xbox live

    I am having the same issue and same error code (80151912) when I'm running the Xbox 360 emulator on my Xbox series X.

    I can sign into Xbox live on my Xbox series x but not on the emulator running the Xbox 360.

    [SOLVED]"Can't connect to Xbox Live" from inside of backwards compatible 360 game on xbox one

    I tried disabling 2fa and setting my password to 15 characters. When I rebooted my xbox one, i had to re-sign in and starting another 360 game (Mirror's Edge) re-fetched something in the emulator.

    That being said, I'm still getting the "can't connect" error if I try to download my profile inside the emulator.

    I dug out my old 360 and it could sign into Xbox Live when 2fa was enabled.
