    I recently tried to login to my Xbox 360 and when I clicked on my profile to sign into it I incorrectly put my password in about 5 or 7 times because I forget it was an app password and not my Microsoft account password. But I don't know what it is so I tried logging into my family settings and I don't know what it is because my dad had it and he forget it. So then we tried to find a way to reset the password, but we couldn't and know whenever I click on my profile to sign in it says, "Sorry, this profile can't connect to Xbox Live on this console. To fix it, download it again". So I am just completely lost.

    You can be signed in on the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One simultaneously, you just can't be signed into the same generation of console at the same time (an Xbox 360 with another Xbox 360 or an Xbox One with another Xbox One).

    You can sign in on different console models at the same time, but not on the same model. For example signing in on Xbox One and Xbox 360 is possible. But it is not possible to sign in on two Xbox 360 consoles at the same time or on two Xbox One consoles.

    Sometimes I get the same error on the Xbox 360. Signing in on account.microsoft.com, then signing back in on the Xbox 360 usually fixes it.
