signing in issues says I already have a PSN account linked to my Microsoft account

Hi Josef, I’m having the same issue however this is the first time I’ve got minecraft on any PlayStation, I’ve tried logging in to Minecraft on PS5 and it gives me the same message, there is only my account on my PS5 yet it says my Microsoft account is already linked to another PSN account, I do not have minecraft on PS4. I attempted to use a different Microsoft account but all I got was a signing in screen for 10 minutes so gave up.

(Edit: just installed minecraft on my ps4 with the same PSN account and also says the Microsoft account is linked to a different PSN account but Nintendo switch works fine so seems to be an issue with PlayStation minecraft)

You cannot see on the Microsoft website if you linked your PSN account to it or not.

Have you ever played Minecraft on your or a friend's Playstation?

Or maybe have a friend ever played Minecraft on your Playstation?

I ask because maybe your Microsoft account is not linked to any PSN account, but the PSN account on your PS5 is already linked to other Microsoft account - which makes it impossible for you to sign in and link your current Microsoft account to it.

hello! long ago i linked an MSA ( microsoft account) to my PSN ( playstation) account on minecraft. that account got singed out so long ago that i don’t even remember, now when i try to sign in using a different MSA it says that a MSA is already linked to this Psn account but i dont remember what msa account i linked to my psn account and since im singed out i cannot unlink it. i dont even remember the user name or email or password for the msa that is linked to my PSN account.

Ultimately you're going to have to somehow figure out what the Microsoft accounts email was.

Even if you could unlink the old one, Sony will not allow you to link a new one. They will only let you relink the Microsoft account you first linked.

Except to my knowledge I have never linked my Microsoft account and PSN before trying to do so today. I only recently linked my Java edition minecraft to my Microsoft account, and today thought I'd try the Playstation version of the game. When I log into my microsoft account it says it is already connected to a different account.

How can I find out which Microsoft account has been linked to my PSN?

Okay. I’ve checked the link multiple times and it says that no Apps or links have been used. Even my other Microsoft account which I never use, doesn’t have anything connected to it. So I still have no idea what’s been linked to my account.

Do you think this might be an issue with the PSN account? Or just an issue with the Mine raft sign-in page. If the latter, what do you suggest?
