    after turning on console i cant sign in to xbox live account.I have to unplug power and restart console to sign in.It would automatically sign in for a year now and nothing has been changed.

    Unable to sign into profile after starting the console up

    After booting the console up and attempting to sign into my profile, I constantly get the error code 0x80a30204, stating that there is a problem signing into my profile. Doing a hard reset of the console fixes the problem temporarily, but I get the issue
    again after powering off the console and powering it back on. I'm sick of having to power cycle my console every time I want to play a game. Is there a permanent way to fix this error?

    Have you tried signing out, powering the console off, then signing back on? Give that a shot and see if it works. If not, try removing and redownloading your profile. Give those a shot.

    Problems Signing In?

    I was able to successfully sign back in to XBL on the X1 with the hard reset (holding in the power button for 10 seconds, unplugging the power cord, and powering up the x1 again). I was prompted for my first and last name after the X1 powered back on and

    I have in the past had issues where I renew/purchase Gold but the game will not acknowledge it even after fully quitting and restarting the game.

    Usually, though, signing out of my Xbox and then signing back in fixes the issue. Try this first and if that does not fix it attempt to power cycle your console by holding down the power button while the console is on for several seconds, until the console
    powers off. When you power it up again it will have rebooted cleanly.

    Seeing as the power brick is in a "standby" state (orange light) it should be safe to try this - have you tried unplugging the power brick from the wall AND from the back of the console for 5 minutes? This will allow the surge protector inside the power
    brick to reset itself. At that point, plug back in and try starting up to see if the issue recurs.

    I would avoid using any power strip of any kind, once in your console go to settings and the system and check on your powersaving modes and see if it set on any function sometimes this can play a role in why it shutting off. these two links are great the
