Discus and support signing in a guest account for split screen in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I can get split screen to work on Forza with 2 different accounts.     signing in a guest account for split screen


    I can get split screen to work on Forza with 2 different accounts. My issue is logging in an acoount as a guest. When I go to add guest, it says issue occured but should be able to try again and it will work. But when I try again it does not work???? Anyone
    know how to log in a guest?

    Play on XBox Live with two household players?

    As long as the game supports split-screen play then you should be good to go either signing both of you in to your Gold accounts or one of you playing as a guest.

    Confuse...Please Help!!!!

    to be able to play EVERY game with each other you will need 2 xboxs. 2 controllers, 2 TVs, 2 copies of the game, and 2 xbox live accounts as gold members to play online with each other.

    some games let you have guests and do split screen though which helps.

    as said, halo allows guests to split screen, COD3 back when I played it allowed split screen a well but i am not sure on guests.

    Have you signed the guest into the console? While you are signed in to the xbox one under your profile say "Xbox Sign in" choose "Add Guest" the guest will be signed (it will go through the Kinect want to recognize them bit) in and appear as your gamertag
    plus a number in ( ) after it. Once your guest is signed in go to Free Mode (split screen) in Forza 5 and that guest will be able to join your game. Been working for me.

    It depends on what game you are playing. Like GoW and Halo you can sign in with a guest account and play online split screen.

    If you've added your son's Xbox account to your Xbox, both of you may be logged in at the same time.

    Unfortunately, certain games only allow guests to sign in for split screen modes. Star Wars Battlefront II is one such example:

    Did you check How to play Rocket League split-screen (msn.com) ?

    It says there "Signing into a guest account allows players to play offline modes together, but they cannot play against other players online." and since you mentioned a guest account that may be something to check.

    It would probably make sense to create a child account rather than using a guest account anyways.
