    Signed Out?

    Hi,

I see people have a similar issue of mine, but the problem doesn't seem to want to go away. Most of the forum postings I've seen are a little old, so I didn't know if there were more recent solutions...

As I'm watching Netflix, creating an emblem in CoD: BO2, sitting in the dashboard, or sometimes even playing an online match I will be kicked out and told to switch profiles/upgrade to Gold, something like that. I've tried that signing out, deleting profile,
clear cache 3 times, and download again trick, but it doesn't seem to work. It seems to slow down the pace at which it kicks me out, but doesn't fix it. I've also noticed downloading updates and DLC has slowed down substantially during these occurrences, not
because I have to keep signing back in and out. It's just slower than normal. Like a 70MB update, that should take less than a minute can take up to 5-10 minutes to download.

I'm not at all a computer expert, but my NAT type says it's open, and my connection is fairly good, I can even play online games on my computer, and surf the web.

Is there anyone else out there who has experienced this and knows a solution, besides that trick?

I've done it multiple times and it hasn't worked, and I just did it again. Now I'm just waiting to see how long it takes to kick me out, because while downloading my profile I got "Status code: 80151925" and I tested my XBL connection and it was just
    fine.

Thank you to anybody who has a link or an upright solution to this problem, besides buying a XBOX ONE lol.

    :)

    Signed in while signed out

I have a friend over and they went to bed. I signed in to play a bit of forza. Next thing I know it shows him as online. His xbox is three feet away from me. BS. It says he's playing fable and got two new acheivements. He doesn't own a windows laptop so
he couldn't be playing this from the bedroom. I thought maybe someone else is signed in so i sign him in and started a game then signed him out and shut it down to see if it kicked anyone. Made the change when he was online. But when i turned it off, it switched
back to saying he was online playing fable III. What the hell? When I sign him in it doesn't even say he was signed in on another console.

    Signed Out?

    Addition;

I haven't been kicked out yet, but I did receive this message while trying to download an update for CoD: Ghosts, "4099-0000-D080-0200-8007-2EE2" It says it involves my connection or my NAT type, and I tested my XBL Connection and it came up that there is
a problem this time, and to turn my router off for 30 seconds and then reconnect the power.

    Sorry,

I'm using a forum for real-time events and just updating it via posts while the issues arise.

Usually if you experience frequent sign outs or cant connection, it can be an indication that there is a problem with the router, modem, or even the ISP.

Can you answer these questions and statements, so we can understand your issue better.

1). What Country/State/Province do you live in?

2). Modem brand & model number:

3). Router brand & model number:

4). If Wireless, are you using a white or black external adapter, or an internal (Xbox 360S) adapter?

    5). Everything you have tried:

    6). Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown

7). Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type?

8). Any Error Codes you encounter:

9). Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)?

10). After you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" press “Y” for "More Info”. In the pop-up that appears, what are the following values, if shown? (If a value below does not appear for you, just leave it blank.)

    W:

    X:

    Y:

    Z:

    ID:

    L:

    Q:

    T:

I can't answer all of those questions at this moment, but I live in the U.S., Ohio. My internet provider is Time Warner Cable. I've noticed these problem in about October, but now I'm fed up with it; it worked perfectly. My 360 is using an ethernet cable
that is linked to an ARRIS TG852 Modem/Router; that TimeWarner provided after I moved here. Before I used a Lyinksis E2500 and I had no problems for years, and with TWC as my provider. I don't have NAT errors. I will try to get more information for you later.
    Thank you.

Have you done any port forwarding on your modem/router? A lot of issues with connections can be stemmed from the ports required for XBL not being open for the Xbox itself. Go to this website to learn how to forward ports (opening them up) on your router.

    portforward.com/.../defaultguide.htm

These are the ports you need to forward:

    TCP,UDP 53

    TCP,UDP 80

    TCP,UDP 83

    TCP,UDP 1863

    TCP,UDP 3074

Make sure you forward the ports for your Xbox, and NOT your computer unless you're using Windows 8 and play Games for Windows Live. Here's how to find your XBox's IP address so you can apply these forwards to that and not your computer.

    1. Go to your System Settings

    2. Go to Network Connections

    3. Highlight your connection type (Wired, or wireless, whichever one you're connected to)

    4. Scroll right to advanced settings, and check the IP Address listed, and right it down, then go on with your port forwarding.

Hello! Everyone here is pretty much on the same page as I, but i am more than happy to share my tips! Here are the steps I like to recommend:

    1. Try resetting the router. If needed, make sure you are not on opposite ends of the house and that you have full bars!

    2. Try deleting your Wi-Fi and reconnecting it. Also, you can try deleting and downloading your profile again.

    3. Try cleaning the cache, you can find the steps on the Xbox support website! There could have been a problem with the previous update or download!

    4. If that does not work, try contacting your internet provider and (if necessary) have them take a look at your router. (This is what needed fixing in my case)

If none of the steps above helped your problems, maybe get your console looked at. Hopefully this isn't the problem but in some cases it is. Something could be internally damaged.

ALSO! Feel free to talk to an Xbox Ambassador or Chat with Xbox Support!

    XBOX CHAT SUPPORT:
    support.xbox.com/.../contact-us

    CACHE CLEAR STEPS:
    support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

Hope this helps! Signed Out? :) Good luck & Safe gaming!

Hey Jarl! There's a couple things you can try and see if it helps at all.

Easiest would probably be to try a wired connection. Try plugging from your router to your console, then try plugging from your modem directly to your console and let us know the results!

Next you can try deleting the title update for Black Ops 2 (since the issue started happening after updating that game) and see if that solves the issue.

    To delete the title update:

-Go to the system hub of your dashboard, then settings, then storage. Find the Black Ops 2 Title Update and delete it.

-Clear your cache (use this guide:
    support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache
    ).

    -Restart your console.

-Try loading up a game (preferably not Black Ops 2 to start with) and see if it disconnects you from LIVE.

Let us know how that goes!

hey Jarl, a few questions for you and hopefully this can be sorted out quickly enough..

    1) are you using a wired or wireless connection to access Xbox Live?

    2) when you get "cut off" is it that you get signed out of Xbox Live or does the connection to the internet drop altogether?

    3) are you getting cut off when you play a specific game?

    4) how long has this been going on?

    5) did anything change in your network setup in your home prior the start of all this hassle? new devices added, changed provider, router got an update or moved?

    6) have you noticed any patterns in the disconnect, like the amount of time between connect and disconnect is similar each time?

    7) have you seen any error codes pop up when this happens? if so can you include them in your reply.

Answering these questions will definitely help us to get you a resolution on your connectivity issue.

On your side note... I'm assuming you mean "i bought revoluton", now I dont know what that is but if its a game or add on you are best to check out

    forums.xbox.com/.../27.aspx
and if you cant find an answer make a post in that forum so the forum experts can help.
