Signed into Xbox Live, but will not allow me to play GTA Online

I start off in story mode - I am signed into my Xbox Live account.

When I try to join GTA Online, it requests me to sign in again. I attempt to do so, but it appears to glitch out and remain in singleplayer, still wanting me to sign in to Xbox live after just doing so. Even on the loading screen of the game, it is only
loading storymode, not allowing me to press any button to quick launch online.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Won't sign in to XBox Live

i cant login to play games, but im signed into xbox live. eso says my online account doesnt have online privilige, twitch wont allow me to login, etc

i can play black ops online, etc

Not banned or suspended, no reason to be, so its not that.

 

Gta not connecting to live

I am currently trying to play gta online. Which worked great on my 360 but on my new xbox one everytime I try to play gta online it says I need to be signed into a live profile even though I already am and signing in again fixes nothing

 

I have uninstalled the game, which it is now re-installing.

 

I'm having the same issue and i did the whole uninstalled and reinstalled the game and I still can't get on the online mode with my friends or with other people. This seem to be going on for most of the week. I can now get on missions but I can't go on free
mode with my friends. This is really getting out of hand with the glitches.

 

I am currently having this problem now as well. Has anyone found a solution yet?

 

I tried the simple "Hold power button till console is fully off, followed by unplugging from the socket for 30 seconds".

Worked perfectly fine afterwards. Still shouldn't have happening in the first place though.

 

I'm experiencing this same problem but it is saying Cant sync data.
