    Account signed in elsewhere problem

    I keep getting kicked out of games because it says my profile is signed in elsewhere. Now am on probation. Are profiles being hacked?

    Hi,

    Just a few minutes ago I was playing on Xbox Live and was disconnected and my profile was apparently signed in elsewhere. This is the bad part. I was able to immediately sign back in, and then I changed my password. Should I be worried, or does this happen
    irregularly but at times? What other precautions should I take?

    Hey Wolfmaster85!

    I created your own thread about your issue to better assist you.

    Regarding this situation if you are being signed out of an Xbox One console and it is saying you have been signed in elsewhere. That means that your Gamertag is being signed into from another Xbox One so it disconnects you. There may be a friend or family
    members house where you left your account able to instantly sign in. To fix this issue you can just change your password and it will stop your account from being able to be signed in elsewhere unless they have the new password check out this link.

    The issue can be resolved by logging into your Microsoft account and
    Change your password    , try it and let us know how it goes!

    Hi there,

    Changing the password won't help, if the other person have set the account to be rememberred. Even if the password is changed the profile will still be able to logon.

    Check this link for the steps you can do ,in case of somebody stole your account, not saying it did happen, but will give the information on how to stop it (profile signed in elsewgere) from happening again:

    This can happen if you lend your account to a friend or family member. You shouldn't have to worry if you've already changed your password though.

    Hi There,

    This sounds like someone has access to your profile on another console, do you perhaps have your profile installed on a friends console? They may be signing into your profile. If you do not know who it maybe I would recommend changing your password for your
    account so that person can no longer sign into your profile.
