Signed in but comes up with incorrect Gamertag

Hello, first time posting. I hope I'm posting this in the right board.

Anyway, I had some problems with Live and had to follow instructions to remove the account, shut down the console and then click "New" where you have to sign in and apparently, if you sign in with the same email as the account you removed, the account is meant
to return.

Well, I signed in with the same email and, well, this account called came up. First of all, I don't even remember making an account like this. Second of all, this is totally wrong. It's meant to be FranticSalami. I know the email I typed in
is for FranticSalami and not this SharedSeeker account.

I don't know what to do. This is 100% the correct email and it comes with the wrong Gamertag. Is there any other things I can do to get the real account back?

Has anyone updated the One Guide so new Sky Sports channels are correct?

Mine is still showing the incorrect SS channels. Hope this isn't a sign of things to come.

Is it possible you're signed into Windows 10 with the incorrect Microsoft Account and in-turn signed into the Store with a Gamertag different than what you own the game on?

Is there an error message when you try to start the game?

Change your Account alias here
account.live.com/.../Manage

Go to your info tab when you sign in and click on Manage your sign-in email or phone number.

and change the email there.

your accounts might be using one email.

Do you have a xbox 360 and is this FranticSalami is on there?

 

Hi there, after deleting the profile you would normally select 'download profile' not new profile:

support.xbox.com/.../download-your-xbox-live-profile-to-another-xbox-one-console

It's also impossible to have two gamertags attached to the same email because it will prompt you to say a gamertag is already associated with it. This makes me think you are indeed using the wrong email, I would suggest double checking the details and using
the download profile option.
