  1. Signal output splitting

guess this could be for support too.

But I’m still running my 360 slim. Want to record hdmi game play just can’t afford an hdmi capture device yet.

What I’ve done is use a powered splitter inline with hdmi, one tv port and the other to a converter that’s usb powered. Only one cable plugged in and it works on the tv, **** the other in I immediately lose all signal out put. Had this in my car too. Xbox
to splitter to tv then to head unit and no issue there.

My guess is the converter idea never will work or the box is crap.

    Any other suggestions???

    :)

Will there be a split A/V Connector for the Xbox One?

There is no Dana, only Zuul...

    .

Since it won't have any analog AV output but only HDMI and S/PDIF via TosLink, those who need to use analog will have to consider getting a new tv or an expensive converter. Hollywood has made sure analog video is getting deprecated.

    .

Splitting the HDMI signal for feeding two tv sets might work with a regular HDMI splitter.

  3. Question about this whole Cable/Satellite thing....

I've never heard of needing another dish for another box. Must dishes have several outputs that run upto 5 boxes with dvr needing to inputs instead of one. The only way you all have to watch the same thing is if your splitting the cable out of the box into
several tvs. Each box decodes the signal separate from the others so you problem isnt really a problem. If the cable is split before entering a box that box decodes if its split after the box the signals been decoded and plays on however many tvs its plugged
    into.

If I had to wager a guess, there's probably an HDCP error occuring somewhere. I am not entirely sure as you haven't provided any specific detail on the hardware you're using (model-wise).

You could try recording gameplay through the analog A/V port off the Xbox 360, or just save up for a proper HDMI capture device.

Can series x support two monitors?

    Simple answer, no.

You could split the signal and have the output going to two monitors, but what would be the point? all it would be would the same screen on two monitors.

Connecting my 360 to a Home Theather

You kids, are full of Bull Dust & can't admit you ARE Wrong.... It's "Common Sense" that anything processed is adding a delay, before outputting the signal again & IS routed to the specific DVP or DAP before processing the signals for output etc....

1ms CAN make a BIG difference in Timestamping in Multiplayer games & people are known, to pick up on 1ms of latency in games.... Wearing Glasses, your eyes are probably that bad, that you don't even notice........

Wire speed is just the Bandwidth or maximum Bitrate of a signal & not all devices can split (Route) & process the signals that fast for outputting to a HDTV with Input Lag etc...

Live TV Stuttering with HDMI pass through for UK VM and Sky subscribers

Kilbaba, yes that is correct it does not fix the 50Hz issue it just takes the Tivo output signal and splits it two ways.

I will have the first output direct to the TV and this will be exactly the same as things are now same input, no need to have the X1 turned on, and no 50Hz Jitter. The second output will go to the X1 and on the occasions where the feature might be useful
i.e. when gaming etc, then I will still have the TV signal at the X1 albeit with the 50Hz issue if MS don't fix it soon. Not ideal, but for me a better option and no hassle for the family.

    Lack of HDMI Ports

    There is a way.

You could use an HDMI Splitter (like this one
    http://amzn.to/1jSdFTL
) to split the Signal from your cable box. You'd have two separate outputs with the same signal from your cable box, one would go to the tv and one to the xbox.

    Hope this helps.
