    what the **** on my old xbox i had signed up for xbox live it worked but it broke down red light if death. couple months later.......

    I get a new 360 and now it's giving me problems with sign up what the **** i never asked for this now Im starting to think microsoft sucks because they wont fix this if they do a update on this ill be happy but if not ill be microsoft hater because this
    is freaking bullcrap!!!!

    It seem the problem has gone away. After my last reply yesterday, I made a "factory reset" and since then the problem hasn't occurred.

    I hope it doesn't come back.

    Hello,

    It shouldn't matter what e-mail address you used to signup but you should make sure that you actually selected United Kingdom when you signed up by visiting this page
    here. You can see the country you selected when you signed up by looking under Counter/Region. If that page displays that your Country/Region is in
    the United States which I'm assuming it is (which is why you're seeing dollar signs instead of pounds) you will need to make a new account either on XBOX.com or via the XBOX 360 console.

    Please make sure that you select United Kingdom from the country list if you make the account on the console. If you choose to make the account on XBOX.com, please make sure that the country that's coming up on the bottom left of the site says "United Kingdom",
    then you can be sure that you are on the correct page, and that the correct country is going to be selected.
