Sign Out of Xbox Live on Xbox 360

Ok so I just recently got my XBOX 360 back from my father. I also figured out how to get onto XBOX Live on my 360. I got 2 issues here. 1: when on the internet explorer I try to go to a website and it says internet failure or something like that. My WiFi is perfectly fine and I'm on Xbox live as well. So there's that. 2: how do I sign out of my XBOX Live account on my 360 so I can be offline again cause there is a ceartin glitch I needed on one of my games and it's patched when I'm on Xbox Live. So how do I sign out of it without deleting my account and how do I get my connection to the internet working? Please help

I sign into my profile on my Xbox 360, and when I sign in it signs me out of Xbox live. When I sign out of my profile I can sign back into Xbox Live again. it signs me out of Xbox live every time I sign into my profile.

If your talking about a Games for Windows LIVE game on your PC/Laptop then your automatically logged out of the other. So for example, if you were logged in on your XBOX 360 with the same gamertag signed in online, and then opened up a Games for Windows
LIVE game and signed in, it would automatically sign out your XBOX 360's gamertag.

It's not possible to be signed into the same XBOX Live account in multiple locations regardless of it being an XBOX 360 or a Games for Windows LIVE game. You can however be signed into XBOX.com and then your XBOX Live account on either Games for Windows LIVE
or your console without being kicked out as it's only on the website for management purposes

i've tried signing in with the 2nd controller once i'm in the 360 emulator but it will only allow me to sign in as a guest Xbox live account. If i try signing under my Xbox live account, it signs out of xbox live completely.

Found this archived page that describes how to troubleshoot Internet Explorer on Xbox 360. Internet Explorer on Xbox 360 is no longer supported and may have varying functionality and results based on individual websites you attempt to visit while using it.

As for turning the Xbox 360 offline, try these different methods:

1. Navigating to your profile and scrolling down to Auto Sign-In then selecting Disable under Xbox Live
2. Add a passcode to your account, your gamertag should sign in but require a passcode every time to access live so it won't automatically sign in to live (probably the easiest).

Hi there. Try clearing the update cache on your Xbox 360, then sign out and back into Xbox LIVE. Once you have signed back in try purchasing the subscription again. Good luck!
