Sign-in security & passkey menu is gone....

I sat down to play with a friend and for some reason kinect kept registering both controllers to me and wasn't recognizing anyone but me. I went to check settings in Sign-in security & passkey and that tab/menu is completely gone.... it's not on the xbox
anymore how the heck do I get the Sign-in security & passkey menu back ?

Next we will turn on the required password setting, sign out, and then change it back to not requiring a password. Follow the steps below to do that:

• Select 'Change my sign-in & security preferences' in the 'Sign -in, security & passkey' menu.
  
• In there, select the 'Lock it down' on the far right and sign out.
• Sign back in, navigate back to the Change my sign-in & security preferences' menu and then change it back to 'No barriers'.
  
• Sign back out and see if it prompts you to sign in.

Kinect gamertag issues

Try to turn off the Kinect sign in option for the gamertag of your child.

You can find the setting here:

Press the Menu button on the controller and select Settings, or say “Xbox go to Settings."

Select Sign-in, Security & Passkey.

Under the Sign-in & Security column, select Kinect sign-in.

You child´s gamertag needs to be signed in when you do this. This should resolve the issue.

 

Hi there try a hard reset of your console.

 

I'm having a different issue with my passkey. It doesn't ask me for it anymore. I check and anyone cant access and buy anytime. Even signing in it will ignore my passkey sign-in. I have tried deleting it and creating a new one, and still never showed up.

This happen right after a sign-in error when i first logged in this morning using my passkey.
