Sign in over and over

I am having an issue with my Xbox 360 Gold account that suddenly requires me to sign in when I use and exit a game or app every time. I always sign in at the startup and I am unsure why I have to keep signing in. I have already tried clearing the cache.
I'm not sure what or when my last update was. I understand there has been a glitch in online gaming today. I've been having the sign-in issue for at least 24 hours. I'm not sure if they're related at all.

I have a gold account

My ISP is Time Warner Cable

I live in Southern California

My Xbox 360 is the Elite model

Over Heating Signs

A smell coming from the console is not good. Did you purchase the console new? If so, why not return it to the store for an exchange? That would be the best bet.

Over Heating Signs

Hello everyone

I am a new user from Xbox Products. I bought a Xbox360 Console for my 9 years old son. WE opened and installed dic 25 2014.... from the very first moment i felt a strange smell coming from vent top grill of the console. I lcated my console in a well ventilated
place... i read a lot of chats and forum about the over heating issue... I even chat with a customer service person from xbox.com... he told me that this smell could be normal to fell if you put your nose to close to the top grill of the unit which is my
case.... i am confuse and worried.... Should i send the unit to revision to Xbox facilities??

I don't know what to do... the y suggest go to Microsoft store and make a test....

any one of you have any experiencing about that issue

any comment will be greatly appreciatte

Hey there, so if you're getting signed out when starting or exiting games and apps the way to fix it is deleting the profile from the console (profile only), clear the system cache, restart the console and re-download the profile. I know you said you cleared
your cache, but do the above in that order and it should fix it.

Delete and re-download profile:
support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

Clear system cache:
support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

Hi, it may also be worth trying the following.

On your console go to settings - system - storage, highlight your storage device and press the following buttons in sequence on your controller.

LB,RB,X,LB,RB,X

You will be asked to confirm deletion of the system update, confirm deletion, this will clear any failed system update you have, the console will restart and you will need to update again.

Hi, MASTER x GLIB1. What model is your xbox? is it one of the new black slim models? also could you navigate to your settings tab on the dashboard, go to system/console settings/system info. Can you tell me what your dashboard version currently is. The latest
is 2.0.16202.0. Also are you on a stable internet connection? It might be getting corrupted if its not downloading correctly.

It may be an issue with the hard drive. Can you please remove all drives that you have on the console (flash and hard) and then try restarting the console. If the problem persists then the issue would lie with the hard drive itself.
