Sign in/out and quick resume.

So i need help/suggestions, my brother plays on the console from time to time, and a lot of these times when i come back and quick resume a game, it signed out because it says i changed profile, even though he didn't touch my game.

There's also the occasional screen saying the quick resume is "his", whatever that means, then it gives me an option to quit the game or don't launch it at all.

Any ideas on how to prevent this?

Hello @Salad_Dodger ! All you have to do while you are in a game, press the Xbox button to open the guide and then look for Quick Resume in the upper right corner of the screen and see if the resume is running in the game (you can have up to 3 games a time if you have the Xbox series x/s ). It is also a good idea to save your game before you do something else on your console. Losing the save for Quick Resume is similar to what you’d experience when you reboot an Xbox One console while a game is running. Any unsaved progress will be lost. The next time the game is launched, you’ll have to wait for the game to load.

Quick resume is not something that can be disabled at this time. You need to go out to the dashboard, hit the start button on the game, and go to quit to ensure it does not enter quick resume

Quick resume is only built for games, so no it wouldn't bump these out from opening apps like Rewards or Edge for example.

I play a lot of The Division 2 and quick resume works perfectly with that title.

Yes, you get signed out of the multiplayer server but that's to be expected. But I'm back in the game after a few seconds.
