sign in on xbox one

I have not been able to sign in to my account on Xbox one, so followed suggestions to delete account then add it back in! Now I have a new gaming name and lost all my account details/data everything! Can I get old gaming tag and account subscriptions/games
back?????

Hey Kama thanks for bringing this issue to us, we split this thread from the original so we can better assist!

We do have a
Service Alert affecting the service but just to make absolutely sure, has the account been signed into on another device? Go ahead and try it and let us know to make sure the problem is on our end!

I followed the tips in removing my account and to resign into it and now i cant even recover it. I go to “add new” and all it does is load and gets to a point where it doesnt even load anymore and i cant do anything at all and its really frustrating that
that was the tip and cant use my xbox at all

Affected platforms:



Xbox One



This could be the cause of your issue please check here:
Xbox Live Service Status to check if things are back to normal. Once the Service alert is over you should be able to sign in without further issue.

Are you sure you're using the right email address (Microsoft Account) associated with your original gamertag?

Make sure you're signing in with the correct account. You might be using a different email address. If you don't know the email address, see here: Forgot the email address you use to log in to your Xbox? Learn how to find your Xbox login.

Also, make sure you are choosing to sign-in to an existing account - and not creating a new Microsoft Account.

Your original account should be safe. Removing the account from the console does not delete the account, or any data associated with it.

 

My 10 yr old son was trying together back on line, I fear he has created a new account instead of existing because the email and password were correct.

Now when I try and log into Microsoft account the gaming tag has changed there also and all order history has gone!

Each Microsoft account can only be attached to one Gamertag so the problem is that the correct account isn't signed in. What is recommended is to recover
the correct account so we can then download the profile with the right Gamertag and all its content. Go ahead and
Request
a Callback so we can do this in a step by step style so we can get this issue resolved!
