I downloaded Minecraft 1.16.50 on iPhone 4s and when I tried to sign in to my Microsoft account it said failed to login We tried to login to your Microsoft account but something went wrong.i downloaded Xbox app but it didn’t work.is it even possible to connect to a Microsoft account in Minecraft on iPhone 4s?

Minecraft on the iPhone requires iOS 10 or later. I think the iPhone 4s only supports up to version 9.

Unfortunately, the iPhone is not supported on the Xbox 360 console. The iPod Touch and iPad are not supported either. This is down to the way Apple have configured their products. Sorry.

I forgot to mention you should also grab the "Optional Media Update" even if you have already in the past. I saw they have updated it at least once, so a redownload shouldn't hurt to be sure you have the most recent version.
