    Hello,

    My Xbox stopped working while on vacation and the account that is on there is locked because it has not been signed in or out in so long I guess. I cannot reset the password because Xbox requires the Xbox console id which I cannot access because the Xbox is not working. I also do not own the previous phone number that the account is linked to. I can’t talk to a live agent because there is no option so i am at a wall. Would love to chat with a live agent to help me and not some A.I helper who cannot speak or understand my problem.

    Try these steps Go to Settings > Account > Remove Accounts. Once done, reboot the console and add your account.
