    Microsoft looking into Error Code 0x8004888d

    I haven't seen this error yet, but a lot of people aren't able to connect to live. Maybe you are among the people suffering from error code "0x8004888d". It pops up whenever someone tries to sign into their account. So far the news is that Microsoft is working hard to fix the issue. So are you having the problems?

    Dear XBOX Live users. Xbox One error code 0x8004888D is currently happening due to an error in the stream of Microsoft. No system restarts or reboots are necessary and or will not help with the situation. Please calm down, as nothing serious is happening.
    We are fixing the bug as soon as possible, so you can get that patch in Cal of Duty you were about to be awarded.

    @Fabian73, this problem was solved as it was a service issue with live.. Are you getting the same error code 0x8004888D or are you getting some different error?

    One other thing you could check is logging into the live account associated with your gamertag.. Sometimes Microsoft servers will see a constant login as a hacked account and suspends it.. I've had this happen twice in a week to me.
