Would you please try to reinstall the Gaming Services app on your PC?

- Go to Start > Search for PowerShell > Right Click > Run as Administrator.

- In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

- In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

- Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.

Also, please do these steps:

- Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Microsoft Store > Advanced Options > Reset. Repeat this for the Xbox App.

- Go to Start > Settings > Gaming > Game Mode > Set if OFF.

- Press the Windows Key + R. Type WSReset.exe and press Enter.

- Click on Start > Credential Manager > Windows Credentials. Search for Xbl|DeviceKey, click on it and then Remove.

- Delete Accounts and Cache folders at:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC\TokenBroker

- Also delete Microsoft Store local cache files at:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe

- Restat your computer. Sign in to the Microsoft Store, then try to sign in to the Xbox App again.

See if this works and please let me know.

i cant sign in to microsot store i am trying to download the new micrsoft launcher that i belive u can only get through the MS store and as i told the error that is showing up is 0x80048869

Thanks for the reply and update on the issue. I recommend to installing the
Xbox Identity Provider app on your PC. Here are the PC requirements necessary:

Thanks for updating us with your reply to let us know you're receiving a sign in issue to Xbox Live on your PC.
Are you getting this error from simply just trying to sign in and connect or is it when trying to play a game online? Have you tried any of the solutions available when you click the blue "More Info" link below the error,
and if so, what were the results?

Usually from what I've seen from that error code is that there is an issue authenticating the account to the Xbox Live servers. To try and get your account signed into the app, I suggest to download the
Xbox Identity Provider app. This will help authenticate your
account to the Xbox Live servers.

Give that a try and let us know how it goes!
