sign in crash

Hi. I'm unable to sign in. when I press to sign in and that keyboard is suppose to appear it doesn't. I've been kicked back to home screen. tried power cycle, unplugged x1 from power supply and internet.

Old World Crash Work-Around Fix

Issue:

Pre-existing 1.8.2 worlds crash the console after the update.

Cause:

Signs load improperly.

-

Problem:

1) Nearby signs load in.

2) Xbox 360 console crashes.

-

How to Fix:

1) Go to a far area of your world where there are no signs while in offline mode.

2) Save game.

3) Load game in online mode.

4) Travel back to original location.

5) Play normally; invite friends.

Tests Performed:

1) World will still crash with other local players near signs when loaded.

2) Saving game again while near signs will cause crash again during next load.

3) World will NOT crash when other non-local players are near signs unless the signs have not loaded yet.

Results:

This is not a true fix, but rather a great work-around until a patch updates the glitch.

 

MS Sudoku Crashes without reason--quits in mid-game

Crashes then cant sign in on a regular basis.

 

Can you get to the settings and remove the account (all accounts) on the console ? Then hard reset the xbox AND the modem and router , the see if you can re add the profile at that point...

 

I removed my account but I can't now add it back. shows me this error 0x80a40019

 

Did you do a hard reset on your console? Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
Once it is back up and operational test for results.

 

yes I did. found the solution.. changed DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
