Sign In button does nothing on W10 XBox app

So I've just got the xbox app on W10.

First time I launched it, all fine. Logged in, bought the game pass so I could get Minecraft Dungeons, could see the stuff from my old gamerpass fine.

Now though, it won't let me sign in to the gamerpass portion, it still seems to recognise me for store functions though. If I click Sign In I just get... nothing. No errors, no popups, just nothing. I can't access any social features, no library.

If I click on settings I get this screen, so it clearly has my account details, it just won't sign in to the "gaming account" portion.

Hi Lord Mango Esq,It clearly not works correctly. Have you tried to desinstall/reinstall the app ? Any update on your PC ? (Xbox app,
Gaming services, Microsoft store...).

Yeah, reinstalled, updated, reset everything with xbox in its name, pc got updated just prior to the initial run of Dungeons (needed to to run) and it worked fine after the initial install, but not now.

I highly recommend following the troubleshooting steps below one by another:

1. Close the app from the recent applications menu.

2. Restart your phone.

3. Clear the app cache. Go to Settings > Apps, select the app, then select Storage > Clear cache.

4. Clear the app storage, then try again. Go to Settings> Apps, select the app, then select Storage > Clear storage.

5. Uninstall and reinstall. Press on the app icon until you get the option to Uninstall. Then reinstall the app from the Play Store.

i have this issue and it just randomly started, one day it signed me out on it own and now the sign in button does nothing i can not purchase anything either, i have tried everything you listed above and still nothing. i can still play some games i had shortcuts for games i had pined to my taskbar. it allows me to sign into my account only when accessing the game but not the app itself.
