Sign in and broadcast setting

I can't find the login and broadcast setting. It used to be under settings-preferences -sign in and broadcast but once again Microsoft had to change it. What I need is to turn on my alerts when a friend I added logs on, pretty much the banner doesn't
show.

Ok found it but it's already on but the banners are not popping up

Hi Aod,

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand you are asking about notifications. To get there go to settings>preferences>notifications>Xbox notifications. This will allow you to see when friends come on. However, if they do not allow it, like appearing
offline or what not, you will not see them log on.

Insanity notifications are set to favourites by default in preferences sign in broadcast

Are you changing the settings on the console itself, or are you using
https://account.xbox.com/settings on the web?

Are you trying to change the settings directly with the child account, or did you add the child account to your parent account at
https://account.microsoft.com/family and then signed in with the parent account on https://account.xbox.com/settings and
tried to change the settings of the child account with your parent account?

In the preferences menu you can choose sign-in & broadcasts and set it to favourites (default) or all friends.
