i'm sign into my microsoft account and have ethernet hook to x box 360 also on my iphone i'm sign into xbox live but i tried to connect my device seriel number it says not reconize i'm sigh into xbox 360 i have test everything and it still not connecting even from my iphone se need help and my modem is in another room.

Ok so I moved my profile onto a USB stoarge device and tried connecting, no luck, also tried to connect on 3 other xbox's, two of which use a wired connection to get on the net and 1 wireless and still no luck. Its actullay quite annoying because if my wireless
is switched on my xbox, it tries to connect my profile to xbox live, then fails and logs me off my profile, Im at a loss on what to do.

I'm putting the lottery numbers on this week, someone who actually uses the Kinect, never though I'd see the day.

I agree that it is annoying that the Xbox One X/S don't have the Kinect input, but I would imagine that the amount of people that use it is that low that its not worth putting the electronics into the console just for that 0.5 or 1% of users that still use
the Kinect.

Original Xbox commads still work with Kinect. They have stopped manufacturing them a couple of years ago. Voice commands are moving to other devices and Cortana is still in use on those devices, along with Alexa.

Technology is moving on and whilst kinect opened up so much, it is now time for the next Microsoft revolution and we will have to see what comes with the next gen.

My main concern: the Kinect that I have with my one x will still use voice commands, still be able to interact with games, and I can enjoy all the features that have come with a Kinect.

From what you said, all I have to do is enable the mic for Cortana on the Xbox and it'll still work properly. If that's not the case does that mean I'm losing functionality with the Kinect?

Yes I’m still having the problem. Pertaining to your response, it only happens when I connect headphones because they are sound devices. It happens with any sound device (1) that has a mic, and (2) when I start a game. I’m convinced that it has to do with Windows automatically switching the device type to headset mode, thus causing the quality and connectibility to drop for a long period of time while Windows tries to identify what is actually happening
