Siege Alpha PC & Xbox One Controller

Hi everybody! I was just wondering if anybody got selected to participate in the pc alpha test for Rainbow 6 Siege? I also wanted to know if it's possible if I'm going to be able to use my Xbox One controller on my pc to play it? I've tried confirming with
Ubisoft on twitter and on the forums but have not received any confirmation yet. If anybody has any info for me I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Rainbow Six: Siege Closed Beta Coming to Consoles Later This Year

Ubisoft has confirmed that a closed beta for the upcoming Rainbow Six: Siege will be heading to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this year, following a closed alpha on PC.

 

Any word on Xbox One controller wireless capability for PC?

I've been using my Xbox One controller on PC for months now. Currently though it can only be used wired. Has there been any word on when this is going to get wireless capability on PC? I see computers like the Alienware Alpha still shipping with the Xbox
360 controller probably because the Xbox One controller doesn't have wireless capability on PC yet.

 

Well, you can already use your XB1 controller with your PC (my brother does it all of the time); the fact that R6:S will be on console as well as PC lends credence to the idea that it will support the controller for that specific game, although I admittedly
don't know for sure.

 

I'm with GG on this one (must be a first lol) - i don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to use it, just don't have the solid answer you are looking for, sorry pal

 

No problem. I appreciate the replies. This is actually my first alpha test on pc but I alpha test quite a bit on Xbox and PS4.

 

i cant say yes or not. halo 2 you could use a 360 controller with. Mass effect 3 (also on console) is keyboard only
