Sid Meier's Pirates! data corrupted

I bought "Pirates!" (original xbox game) for xbox 360, the payment was deducted and the download began as normal, but when the download finished the game did not appear in "my games". I checked my storage, the game was listed as "unknown game", and it
said "data corrupted". I tried deleting and re-downloading several times on 2 different xbox 360s, but got the same result each time.

Having the exact sMe issue with this game as you do.
Have you managed to fix it?

I have same issue. Game shows as 'unknown" and as corrupted. On internal drive and external drive. Xbox 360. USA.

Sorry to hear it. Do you live in the same country that your gamertag is set for? If not then that could be the reason for the problem.

The game 'Sid Meier's Pirates' downloaded complete, installed and is playable on the Xbox 360. The incomplete/corruption problem is fixed.

Yes, my gamertag is set to the country I live in. I bought a few other games as well and they all seemed to work fine. It's only Pirates! which didn't work. It takes up 1.4 gb on my hard drive as it's supposed to, but it just says "corrupted".

No, not at all. The file is corrupted and/or configured incorrectly for the Xbox 360 and there is nothing the user can do.
