Sick Of The Abuse

I have been playing games online for a very long time and any game I play treats me like I'm a rookie. I know it's not that I'm a bad player. I look at the kill cam and the guy comes around the corner and has like a full second compared to me to react. This
is lag or delay. I am sick of the abuse of players in lobbies that won't leave because they are getting like 30-0. I don't want to quit because I am not a quitter but how do I get rid of the delay? Is it the quality of my modem and router that is the problem?
Is it my physical location? WHAT CAN I DO TO BECOME AN ABUSER INSTEAD OF AN ABUSEE?

Abuse of the Report

How hard is it to follow rules that you agreed to follow when you signed up for the service.

As long as you follow the rules you dont have to worry about being suspended if you break a rule and are reported to break a rule and then the enforcement team investigates the report that is when they put the suspension put onto the account.

So simple thing is DO NOT break the rules and you do not have to worry about being suspended.

 

Depends, what's your internet speed? But if it's been going on for a while, and it bothers you then maybe CoD just isn't a game for you.

 

This has been going on ever since I started playing online games about 5 years ago. My internet speed is 10 down .5 up. It does bother me a lot but I can't just play offline games. They are so boring! I am 26 and am not a rookie at gaming.....

 

It gets so bad sometimes that you can quite literally empty a clip into someone who is no more than a foot or two away from you and then, after, they will shoot you with like one bullet and you die. Then when you watch the replay it doesn't even show that
you fired a shot, lol.

 

Exactly what I'm talking about!

 

The trouble is that the game not only tries to balance players who have laggy speeds... it tries to compensate for players who's speeds are too fast, slowing them down.



There are a number of factors involved ranging from your distance to the exchange, the speed your television takes to process it's HD image vs someone using an SD TV and the fact that the guy who was firing at you before you rounded the corner is wearing
a $230.00 headset with the volume cranked up loud enough to hear your footsteps coming.



Best thing to do is play your game and enjoy yourself.



Someone is giving you lip? Take advantage of one of the fastest "Quick Mute" functions in the business and shut that bigmouth up permenantly.

Where is the "exchange"? I need to live next to it. How do I know how fast my monitor process HD images? I am a sound *** but only using a $10 headset.

 

^If you're using a monitor then that's not your problem.Maybe you should try getting an upgrade on your internet?

 

That's why I don't play games that are "not" on dedicated servers!!! I'm on the xboxOne so ghosts is dedicated, If it wasn't I wouldn't have bought it...period. I played It for just a couple weeks on the 360 with no dedi's and just about quit playing it
due to the lag and just like you said, "always a second behind"... Pretty much isn't gonna matter what your speed is if it's not on dedi's due to you will always have lag, delay, and latency on p2p...so you can either suck it up and play or play games that's
on dedi's, which this day and age, there is no reason why a game publisher doesn't have all games on dedi's...just saying...

 

The Exchange is the green box where your telephone lines all meet to be sent all over the world. Everyone's house will go to the telephone pole(s) and from there to the green box which is the exchange.



And bad news Top Hat. "Ghosts" on the one is played using a mixture of dedicated server and user hosted games.



That's why every now and then you'll get the message "switching to new host".

You can't use a SDTV with the Xbox One. Not out of the box and definitely not without a HDMI to analogue convertor either.

Display response time will have very little to do with this specific type of lag people are experiencing. Especially if someone has very little issue using their display in other multiplayer games.

 

There are a number of untoward things you can do it COD if you're that fussed about them.



I'm not. That's why I said above, "Mute and move on".

 

Get the best internet you can afford. Play wired and not wifi. Secure your internets. Open NATs, forward ports and keep any periphials off your internet while playing. Also, and this is a biggy too, is your HDD TV can and will have lag. I am still trying
to figure this one out, but it is a factor.
