Shutting down while instant-on

Discus and support Shutting down while instant-on in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So here is my doubt, I like to have my Xbox one with instant-on but, is there any trouble if i disconnect or shut down the power source of the console...     Shutting down while instant-on


    So here is my doubt, I like to have my Xbox one with instant-on but, is there any trouble if i disconnect or shut down the power source of the console while having this mode on? I dont wanna mess up my console

    Update: It appears to be related to power-saving mode. If you don't use instant-on, when you turn off your console it automatically returns to Home while shutting down, thus the Last Seen: Home.

    Instant-On Not Turning Back On

    I am having a problem with the instant-on, when I turn the console off it wont start up again with the controller, I have to press the power button on the console and it does a full start up, it seems like the system is fully shutting it self down or crashing
    while in instant-on mode. any solutions? Thanks.

    No there really is no danger it that happening. I leave mine on instant on and have never had an issue. I guess it could cause and issue if it were doing some update and the power failed but again I have never had any issues.

    No there really is no danger it that happening. I leave mine on instant on and have never had an issue. I guess it could cause and issue if it were doing some update and the power failed but again I have never had any issues.

    Your disk may be dirty or damaged error?

    All the power cycle does is power it down completely. If you have the console set to Instant On it never actually shuts down fully, so shutting it down fully once in a while by way of a power cycle is beneficial as it resolves a few problems, hopefully including
    your disc drive issue.
