Shutdown & Restart required using Apps (Netflx, 4OD) After playing games

Hi

I'm having to shutdown and restart every time I try to use Netflix or 4OD after being connected to Xbox Live and playing multi player games. It sometimes stalls when opening an App or fails to play any content of a movie or programme I try to watch.

Anyone else have this problem? Or is there a known fix for this?

The iPlayer & 4OD should be listed in the apps marketplace if you have a UK account.

XBox app not connecting to device

Tried :

Uninstall reinstall of app on phone

Shutdown & restart of xbox and router

Connecting using ip address

Just keeps saying cant find device. I have a smart tv an av receiver and the xbox wired to the same network. I connect to everything using mobile apps. Everything works but the xbox app. It was working then it suddenly stopped working one day no idea why.

I have recently learned that when you go to the homescreen and are on the main app/game tile, you can push the menu button and select close. I think this issue is when the Xbox is using all available RAM and hope it's fixed in a future update. You can also
close your Recent Apps this way.

this is microsoft new Strategy .

after last console update can not play game pass games in offline mode Particular after console restart or shutdown.

after console restart or shutdown we should ones connect to internet , open all game pass game At least once And then make console offline and set power setting to instant-on mode until console wont go in full shutdown mode.

If the power goes out .you need reconnect to internet after boot and repeat above Instructions.

no, he still does not let me do it, I do not understand why the games if I can download them and the apps do not, like deezer, Spotify, Youtube and netflx

I'd use them more.. if the goddam sound worked on 4oD and Netflix. I used the 1 month trial for Netflix and it suffers the same problem as the 4oD app. Seems lots of people are suffering the issue, something to do with hdmi and then the sound cuts for the
app and whole dashboard out until you reset console.
