Shutdown and retry or wait it out!!??

Ok so I finally got this xbox one offline update tool to work. I passed the little green bar that fills up so it resets and sits on a black screen, like I was told it is suppose to do. So the guy at Customer service told me it could take up to two hours
for the xbox to fully be functional and be done doing its magic. Its been three hours now, should I just wait it out?

Microsoft Solitaire Klondike Daily Challenge 7/19/2014

I also have Windows 8. Went so far as to sign out of Games, restart using shutdown, back in to Games, log in, go back to Solitaire, verify check mark, and retry. Still didn't work. Also did wsreset.exe and checked for updates in Windows store; none found.

Have you tried force shutting down your pc?

Click the startmenu, hold SHIFT and click shutdown.

Retry afterwards.

Second option is to reinstall the game.

give it another hour i would say if still doesn't work i would hold the xbox power button to do a hard reset

Try doing an power cycle hold the x on the console till shutdown then wait 10 mins then retry
