Shut off issues

I have an Xbox One day one edition. I have a serious problem with the console spontaneously shutting down whenever I play a disc based game. This problem does not occur all the time, and the period of time it will stay powered on varies. Sometimes I can
play for 5 hours sometimes for 5 minutes before it will randomly power down. I do not have this issue with digital games only disc based. Before i receive a slew of suggestions please keep in mind: -None of the air vents are blocked on the console or power
brick -the console is not overheating (it will do this after being powered on for the first time in 10 hours) -both power brick and Xbox are on a flat stable surface my dresser) -the power brick is plugged into a wall outlet and it is the only thing plugged
into that outlet -I have tried different outlets as well as different rooms and this still occurs -there are no other electronics drawing power away from the Xbox (I've unplugged everything on the same breaker) -I have turned off always on -This happens when
I play online AND offline -I have tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, reset it, hard reset it, cleared blu ray cache, resetting the power brick, made satanic sacrifices to appease the darn thing, and all the other fixes I can think of to get it to
work For some reason this issue still seems to persist. I have a few other issues with such as it will randomly decided it cannot read a disc and asks me to sign in (when I am) or purchase a digital copy from the Xbox store. It also seems to be triggered by
doing certain actions in my disc based games (i.e. Divinity Original Sin casting meteorstrike will sometimes cause it to shut off). The warranty is expired so I haven't sent it in for repair because I do not know if Microsoft will replace the console even
if I pay to send it in. I am at my wits end and do not know what to do.

Xbox 360 slim shut off issues

I've had my xbox 360 slim for 3 years and this past year its randomly started shutting off without any noise or anything, it doesnt matter if I'm in gameplay or not, this is now the 3rd power brick that my xbox has shut off to. The shut off is completely
random, sometimes 5 minutes, sometimes not at all. I've blown it out as good as i can (brick and console) as good as i can multiple times with canned air and played in a well ventilated space. Last time it powered off i noticed where it plugged into the console
was hot. I've tried everything I've found, any help?

 

It's Time to update

I did waited 30 minutes then just shut it off and ran it again with no issues

 

if it only happens when something is in the drive , then the drive must be going/is bad and causing the shut down , if you send it in make sure to note that it sometimes takes a long time for the drive to switch off the console...only other option would
be a "factory restore" (which I would try first before sending it in) just in case it is a software glitch ...
