    Shut Down After Non-Microsoft Ads


    For the last several days Microsoft Solitaire shuts down after a non-Microsoft (Dish, Honda etc.) ad plays when I have been trying to complete the daily challenges, Is this happening to anyone else? Does anyone know what's wrong?

    Crashes after ads

    Updated PC to Windows 10 Pro 64 bit Creator edition today - now Microsoft Solitaire Collection closes after some (but not all) ads.. Ads show ok until very end and progress bar gets almost to the end then the app just shuts down!!!

    shut down after the ads play?

    everytime I click on a game and diffence games the ads cable tv play then it's shut down

    I find it's just happening with the crown paint advert, but over and over again probably 6 -10 times a game until it changes to another add.

    Happening to me constantly! Even after reinstalling. I sit through the ad, then instead of my game beginning, it seems to just crash and return me to my desktop screen. So frustrating!

    My xbox keeps restarting

    Someone posted a similar problem a while back. It seems it was the shut down preferences that were set. They had their system set to shut down after a certain amount of non use time. When their wireless controller shut off (during the movie) the console
    recognized that as not in use and proceeded with the shut down.

    Perhaps take a look at your preferences and see if you have it set up to shut down after an amount of time. If so, either increase the time or turn the auto shut down off.

    Sleep Timer

    It's not a sleep timer, but there are options on your console to have it automatically shut down after a certain period of non-use. Just use that.
