    Showtime Anytime - Parental Controls


    When the Showtime Anytime app first launched it worked fine. After a week it started telling me that "Parental control have been set for your account. This program exceeds the maximum allowed rating." I have never touched parental controls on the app, my
    system or my cable provider site. Anyone else having this issue? I have contacted XBox support and he had me uninstall, clear my cache, reinstall, etc.

    FXNOW App Not usable

    I have the same problem with FX now. Saying my parental controls for comcast wont allow it. Showtime anytime had the same issue but eventually got it to work after deleting then reinstalling. FX app seems to be thinking there is parental from the provider
    even though mine is set to accept everything

    I have been having an issue for 2 weeks trying to activate my Showtime account on Xbox One. Initially it was activated and worked great. All of sudden I was required to re-activate and now it keeps saying Code expired or not valid try again. I have tried
    with two separate accounts that have Showtime services.

    I'm able to access the Showtime anytime services through my iPad and chromecast via xbox one with no problem. Anyone having this same issue?

    I'll answer my own question. lol I just though of uninstalling the app, clearing the cache, deleting the app info from my system, deactivating the device on the Showtime Anytime site and then downloading the app and starting from the beginning. It worked.
    Things play fine now.

    Things play fine now.

    The website works for me, slayer3901. I'd say try a different web browser or different computer if possible. You can also activate the Xbox 360 through the Showtime Anytime smartphone/tablet app in its Settings menu.

    The problem I'm having is that I can't get the app's icon to appear in my Xbox's "My Videos" menu. It's downloaded and activated, and I can launch it through My Pins on the home screen as well as the "Browse Apps" menu.

    I've searched Google and this site's support section, but don't see any other reports of this specific issue. I've tried several different consoles and several different Gamertags.

    I have also tried deleting the app, deleting any saved data from the System Storage menu, clearing the system cache, and rebooting the console before reinstalling. No dice.

    If anyone can clue me in on how to get the damn thing to appear I'd greatly appreciate it.

    try accessing it on the web, and go to manage devices, you might have to delete the xbox entry from there and re-connect it.

    I've been having a problem with it just saying "Error Sorry, this Showtime Anytime feature isn't available right now. Please try again later. For more information, go to www.Xbox.com/status." every time I try to start the app. It's listed as up & running
    so nothing there. I also tried uninstalling & reinstalling with no luck. Looks like the same one Ben was having. Any resolution yet?
